Job summary

Wyndham San Diego Bayside is seeking a hotel housekeeper to maintain clean and safe guest rooms and public areas. You will clean bathrooms, beds, and surfaces, restock linens and amenities, and assist with room readiness and trash removal.

Strong teamwork and physical stamina are essential; experience with cleaning agents and equipment helps. The role supports a welcoming environment for guests and associates alike.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help coworkers as a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors.
• Strip beds and change bed linens, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, shelves, and window ledges and purge trash.
• Push and pull vacuum across rooms and restock supplies.
• Replenish amenities and sign for room keys; ensure room readiness.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
