Job summary

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia seeks a Guest Room Attendant to maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms at our Paradise Valley property. You will refresh rooms for continuing stays and thoroughly clean rooms after checkout to prepare for the next guest.

Responsibilities include cleaning beds and bathrooms, restocking supplies, and communicating room status. Requires flexibility for busy periods, strong attention to detail, and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Prior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift; must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Uphold Omni Safe and Clean processes.
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock supply cart and ensure it is neat and organized at all times.
• Check equipment prior to and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Maintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or safety situations to ensure a safe environment.
• Attend required department trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Overview:

The Guest Room Attendant position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room. Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as, thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.

• Must possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
• Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
• Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.Must meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all time.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer literacy to include: Payroll systems
