Job summary

Baymont Modesto is seeking a Part Time Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and corridors to hotel standards, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay for guests.

You will perform cleaning, laundry duties, restock supplies, assist guests with requests, and report damages. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) match, Paid Holidays and PTO, plus EAP and other perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms per standards.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrival and maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and maintain hotel common areas.
• Perform laundry duties as needed.
• Stock and organize housekeeping supply rooms.
• Provide high level of guest service at all times.
• Assist guests with requests and questions.
• Report damages or repairs to management.
• Report lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.

• Pay or shift range: $16.90 USD to $17 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

The Room Attendant (Part Time) will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. Room attendants must be comfortable communicating with guests they encounter, as well as the Housekeeping staff to efficiently service guest rooms. Teamwork among all housekeeping staff, as well as the ability to perform the daily tasks required for the position, form the foundation on which each individual is able to develop and succeed within the department.

• Cleaning and servicing assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including
• Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Perform laundry duties as necessary
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
• Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
