Job description

Basic Purpose: Cleans guest rooms to exacting standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Clean a set number of rooms during a shift, including removing dirty towels and sheets, and replacing them with clean ones. Clean, dust, and sanitize all areas of the guest room (bedroom, living room, dining room, and bathroom) according to procedure. Make beds. Vacuum carpets and clean marble and tile areas. Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts to service landings.
2. Restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, and pens.
3. Comply with Stonebridge Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
4. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
5. Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• High school education is not required.
• Up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
• Perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and minimal supervision.
• Exert physical effort consistent with cleaning assigned rooms as per hotel standards.
• Ability to grasp, bend, stoop, and push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs.
