Description

The Town Club offers a serene environment with unique landings for relaxation after a long day, including the Rooftop Terrace that overlooks Downtown Los Angeles and The Grill featuring signature dishes with ingredients from our Urban Garden, paired with wines from our sommeliers. With event and overnight rooms, a gym, dining options, and more, the Town Club is a peaceful oasis in the city.

Job Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up, and hair from bathroom fixtures and surfaces, inspecting and cleaning grout and mildew as needed.
• Clean assigned guest rooms according to priority.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals compliant with OSHA regulations and hotel standards.
• Dust and polish furniture, clean mirrors, picture frames, lamps, window ledges, doors, and other surfaces, including under furniture and behind fixtures.
• Transport cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring carts are stocked and cleaned at shift end.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Restock bathroom amenities and replace soiled items like bathrobes.
• Ensure proper placement of hangers, blankets, pillows, and luggage racks.
• Inspect and report damages to furniture or fixtures.
• Strip rooms and prepare them for new guests.
• Set clocks, check TV channels, and clean lamps and switches.
• Sanitize ice buckets, dust drapes, and ensure amenities are in working order.
• Stock guest water and ensure all electrical cords are organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and independence or teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and dedication to guest satisfaction.

Preferences

• At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $21.55/hour
