Overview: The Room Attendant maintains clean and attractive guestrooms, providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
  2. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
  3. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
  4. Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
  5. Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day.
  6. Replenish chemical bottles.
  7. Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  8. Report maintenance repairs immediately.
  9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
  10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
