Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Eden Prairie is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction. You will clean guest rooms and bathrooms, change bed linens, launder items as needed, and maintain orderly public areas to hotel standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is highly organized, and can coordinate with the team to deliver clean, welcoming spaces for guests staying in Eden Prairie.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Respond to general inquiries from guests
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned

• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Respond to general inquiries from guests
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position

Compensation

$17 - $18 hourly
