Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Central Park is seeking a Room Attendant to create clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest environments and support brand standards. You will be an ambassador for the hotel, promoting a positive image through professionalism and service excellence.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and public areas, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and items left behind.
• Push heavy carts; move quickly to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public areas in accordance with company procedures and standards.
• Stock carts with cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment to properly clean each room.
• Observe knocking procedures when entering a guest room.
• Complete cleaning checklists and ensure amenities are stocked for each cleaned room.
• Report clean rooms to supervisor for inspection and report damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Secure guest room doors upon exiting and maintain neat corridors and service areas.
• Return lost and found items and guest room keys as directed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and security rules.
• Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures; utilize protective equipment and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage, or loss to management; contribute to a safe work environment.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per team member handbook.
• Perform related duties as requested by management and assist other housekeeping personnel as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Push heavy carts; bend and reach to dust, clean, and make beds; stand and walk for varying lengths of time.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members; answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and items left behind; mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms, and hands quickly to perform cleaning duties; lift equipment and supplies on and off carts.

Physical Demands

• Pushing carts up to 200 pounds; lifting up to 50 pounds
