Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a detail-driven Room Attendant committed to creating spotless, welcoming spaces for guests. You will be the heartbeat of the guest experience, ensuring rooms feel like a home away from home through efficient, careful cleaning and attentive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning or hotel experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels’ standards.
• Replace linens and amenities; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergencies.
• Regular attendance and flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
• Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Your Qualifications Include

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend.
• Ability to push, lift, and pull items weighing up to 25lbs repetitively during entire shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
