Job Description Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

1. Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
2. Respond to guest complaints and requests, taking corrective actions for satisfaction.
3. Clean and service assigned rooms or areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and cleaning kitchen areas if applicable.
4. Notify supervisor upon completion of service and report any rooms that cannot be serviced.
5. If assigned to laundry, monitor supplies and equipment, operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
6. Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
7. Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
8. Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
9. Handle lost and found items appropriately.
10. Promote teamwork and communicate effectively with staff and management.
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
2. Experience in extended stay industry beneficial.
3. Fluent English skills preferred; other languages beneficial.
4. Basic reading, writing, and math skills preferred.
5. Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about; lift up to 75 pounds.
6. Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Use of cleaning chemicals required.

Additional Information:

• Pay range: $24.90 - $25.90.
