Responsibilities

  • Empty trash and replace bags.
  • Clean bathrooms including toilet, shower, tub, sink and floor.
  • Report deficiencies to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
  • Maintain punctual attendance and safe work practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

JOB TITLE: ROOM ATTENDANT

DEPARTMENT: HOUSEKEEPING

REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

OBJECTIVE

The Room Attendant performs cleaning duties to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and to provide a memorable guest experience through the anticipation of guest’s needs and providing exceptional service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • During morning standups employee will obtain their daily assignments of stay over/checkout rooms to prepare for the day’s work flow.
  • Make beds according to resort standards.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, towels, and all other in room amenities.
  • Sweep and clean all floors and rugs to remove all debris.
  • Dust and clean all countertops, picture frames, upholstered furniture, windows, window shutters, walls, doors, and window sills.
  • Empties all trash in room and replaces plastic bags.
  • Cleans the bathroom including toilet, shower, bathtub, sink, and floor.
  • Helps maintain guest rooms by reporting any deficiencies to the Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
  • Punctual, regular and reliable attendance is a condition for continued employment.
  • Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

  • Versatile, flexible and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Must be able to work independently.
