Job Summary

The Room Attendant maintains the cleanliness of guest rooms and work areas, including lobby, restrooms, hallways, and stairways as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring rooms meet hotel standards for stayovers and check-outs, and adhering to departmental policies and procedures, including proper use of cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, maintaining positive relations.
• Be familiar with hotel services, features, and local attractions to assist guests accurately.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including vacuuming carpets and cleaning bathrooms.
• Deliver and retrieve guest items, ensure room security and privacy.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties as required, including deep cleaning tasks.
• Replace linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all fixtures and furniture are in good condition.
• Attend to guest requests and complaints, following brand standards.
• Update room status and restock supplies at shift end.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and carry items for extended periods.
• Push up to 75 lbs., lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
