Job description

Clean guest rooms for checkouts and stay-overs, reporting any maintenance issues as needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at the Lodge.

What You'll Do

• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Change bed linens and make beds to property standards
• Vacuum, dust, and clean all surfaces including tops of equipment and appliances
• Move light furniture (chairs, tables) in order to clean underneath
• Scrub commodes, tubs, and clean tiles
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest suites
• Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
• Report all missing items from rooms (irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Manager
• Prepare housekeeping cart for the next day use
• Practice safe use of all cleaning agents
• Follow all safety practices including wearing personal protective equipment and reading chemical warning labels
• Understand and adhere to Federal and State regulations regarding handling hazardous materials

• Must be capable of bending, stooping, and working on knees
• Must be able to work in an outside environment
• Must use common sense and integrity in ensuring security of guest belongings

Physical Requirements

Heavy work - exerting force frequently and constantly lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Must be able to stand during entire shift. Long hours sometimes required.
