Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Solar Installation Helper to support the Solar Panel Installation team. You will assist electricians during solar installations, handle conduit, wire termination, and help mount and wire panels on rooftops, while adhering to safety standards.

Must have construction experience and be proficient with hand tools and possess an active driver's license. The role requires occasional night/weekend shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have construction experience and be good with hand tools
• Active Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians and installers during solar installations
• Carrying out tasks such as bending conduit, stripping and terminating wire, and maintaining an organized job site
• Assisting in the installation of solar panel systems, including mounting panels and racking, and wiring
• Using hand and power tools to install racking
• Servicing the solar system as needed
• Laying out and installing conduit, disconnecting switches and junction boxes correctly
• Performing jobs from high places (i.e. on roofs) including climbing ladders with proper equipment and materials
• Adhering to all quality and safety codes
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
