Job summary

Rosewood Washington, D.C. is seeking a Rooftop Server to join our team in Georgetown. You will deliver elevated dining experiences, greet guests, take beverage orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in line with the hotel’s service standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining service standards, collaborating with the Food & Beverage team, and upselling cocktails and wines while complying with liquor regulations. This role requires energy, hospitality, and a guest-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Food Server.
• Able to work PM/evening shifts to include weekdays, weekends and holidays.
• English speaking/listening; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure standards are maintained at a superior level daily.
• Check table setups for cleanliness and proper position before service.
• Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, including minors and intoxicated patrons.
• Greet guests and assist with seating; take beverage orders with upselling.
• Transmits orders to bar/kitchen; note dietary needs and requests.
• Provide excellent guest relations and respond to inquiries accurately.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of service areas; clear courses as needed.
• Create an amazing dining experience and suggest wines and courses.
