Job summary

Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town is seeking a Pool Server to welcome guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a safe, enjoyable pool experience. This part-time role involves serving beverages, processing payments, and maintaining a clean pool deck in a busy outdoor setting.

Shifts are four to five per week, including weekends and holidays. You will work with Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre Kitchen + Cocktails teams to keep service seamless during peak periods and events.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused hospitality experience.
• Ability to take accurate orders and communicate clearly in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
• Comfort with handling payments and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the pool deck and cabanas in a warm, attentive manner.
• Take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system and deliver promptly.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly per Arizona laws and hotel policy.
• Communicate allergy and dietary requests to kitchen and bar.
• Ensure presentation, temperature, and portions meet standards.
• Process guest payments and cash handling per procedures.
• Provide attentive service to cabana and reserved-seating guests.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work and restock service items.
• Maintain a clean, safe pool deck and report hazards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards outdoors.
• Respond to guest requests and elevate safety concerns when needed.
• Coordinate with bar, kitchen, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering.
• Follow heat safety practices and pool rules.
