Job summary

Beemok Hospitality Holdings LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Bar Marti, a rooftop bar exclusive to hotel guests in Charleston. You will support day-to-day operations, oversee staff, manage inventories, and help maintain exceptional guest experiences with a focus on service quality and efficiency.

The role requires leadership experience in a luxury dining environment, budgeting knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests, suppliers, and team members.

Qualifications

• Requires college or vocational degree in hotel/restaurant management, sales, or marketing.
• Minimum five years in a leadership role in a 4- or 5-star restaurant, with at least three years in progressive management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations including staffing, scheduling and inventory management.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials and beverages.
• Conduct daily pre-meal meetings with service staff.
• Supervise floor during operation and coordinate dining room functions.
• Review profits, payroll and expenses; identify efficiency improvements.
• Prepare budget forecasts and support marketing ideas within the department.
• Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise ordering of supplies and monthly inventory.
• Negotiate with external vendors; ensure guest satisfaction.
