Job summary

QXO in Melbourne, FL is seeking a full-time delivery/warehouse associate to unload building products, stage materials on rooftops, and assist with delivery operations. You’ll work outdoors in heat, climb to access one or two-story rooftops, and wear PPE while following safety protocols.

This role emphasizes physical endurance, reliability, and safety. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; a valid transportation means to reach branches is required.

What You'll Do

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• Start time 6:30am until work is done, around 4pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

What You’ll Bring

• Access one- and two-story rooftops to stage materials at delivery locations. Occasionally 3 story buildings
• Must be comfortable working at heights; required safety equipment and fall protection are provided.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.
• This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in the heat for extended periods throughout the day.
• Access to a reliable mode of transportation to commute to branch location
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
