Hyatt is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for The Rooftop Bar in Oceanside. This on-site role leads shift operations, streamlines beverage service, and drives cost control while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with health, safety and alcohol regulations, and coordinating events to attract guests. Strong leadership and beverage knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of beverages including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the rooftop bar.
• Develop and maintain an enticing beverage menu (cocktails, wines, spirits).
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and cost control.
• Ensure health, safety, and alcohol regulatory compliance.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate events and promotions to attract customers.
• Coach and mentor staff and monitor payroll-related tasks.
