Responsibilities

• The Food Server Assistant assists the Food Server in serving guests.
• May roll silverware, clear tables, and run food and drinks as needed.
• Assist new hires to Rooftop and provide guest questions about The Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird Resort.
• The Rooftop Bar team may support other outlets depending on business needs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in outdoor weather conditions.

Summary

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of team at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific is North County San Diego’s first rooftop dining experience. The menu focuses on Baja-inspired dishes and delicious bites to share, plus a full array of craft cocktails with original recipes from our accomplished team of mixologists .

The Food Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. This person will be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time, in the outdoor weather conditions. This person will act with maturity and behavior that aligns with Hyatt values: Empathy, Respect, Integrity, Inclusion and Experimentation.

Please note, your job duties may include additional responsibilities depending on business needs, such as rolling silverware, clearing tables, running food and drinks, assigned side work, cleaning measures, compliance trainings, meetings, assisting new hires to Rooftop, assisting guests with questions that relate to either The Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird Resort, etc.

The Rooftop Bar is within the Oceanside Beach Resorts properties including The Mission Pacific Beach Resort and The Seabird Resort. The hospitality business is 24/7 and this server may be responsible for assisting other food and beverage outlets on occasion, depending on business needs.

This list is not all-encompassing and that daily work tasks may and can be altered to meet business needs.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hr.
