Job summary

theWit Hotel on theWit Rooftop is seeking a Barback to support the bartending and beverage team in a high-volume setting. You will ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and ready for service at ROOF, theWit Hotel's premier rooftop venue.

Responsibilities include restocking inventory, maintaining bar cleanliness, and assisting during peak periods. Prior hospitality experience and reliability are essential for success in this upscale environment.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability to meet business needs.
• Experience as barback, restaurant, hotel or hospitality preferred.
• High-volume or upscale bar/restaurant experience a plus.
• Knowledge of basic bar operations and beverage service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders and beverage staff to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Stock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, napkins and supplies.
• Restock garnishes, juices, mixers, syrups, and ingredients as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized bar stations before, during and after service.
• Clear and clean glassware and bottles from bar and service areas.
