Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, a leader in commercial/industrial roofing, seeks an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support sales reps in the greater Tampa area. The role involves inspecting roofs, measuring areas, and providing accurate data for proposals. Occasional overnight travel is required.

Requirements include proficiency with MS Word/Excel, basic construction knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Training is available for roofing systems like BUR, TPO, metal, and coatings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with Bid Estimating Software.
• General construction or roofing sales experience; training available for the right candidate.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems (THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM, COATINGS) preferred.
• College degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and identify problem areas on roofs.
• Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needs for re-roofing.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate information for proposals.
• Occasional overnight travel during the week.

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representativesin the greater Tampa area.

This position pays $50k - $55k plus premier benefits and annual bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:

• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Occasional overnight travel during the week

Candidate Requirements:

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General Construction, Roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree inConstruction Management or similarpreferred
