Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, the nation's leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, is seeking an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representatives in the greater Birmingham area. You will travel to customer locations, inspect roofs, and provide accurate data for proposals.

The role offers competitive pay of $50k-$55k, premier benefits, and annual bonus opportunity. No prior roofing experience required, training provided.

Qualifications

• MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software proficiency.
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to climb ladders to heights up to 25 feet.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems preferred (THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas.
• Measure commercial roofs and estimate roofing material and labor needed to re-roof.
• Work with the sales team to provide accurate information for proposals.

This position pays $50k - $55k plus premier benefits and annual bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:

• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers

Candidate Requirements:

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree inConstruction Management or similarpreferred
