Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in roofing services, seeks an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representatives in the greater Birmingham area. Travel to customer locations to inspect commercial roofs, communicate findings, measure roofs, and estimate materials and labor.

You will collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate information for proposals and ensure quality service for clients.

Qualifications

• MS Word, Excel and bid estimating software proficiency.
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to climb ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and inspect commercial roofs.
• Communicate with customers and identify problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needs for re-roofing.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate information for proposals.

CentiMark Corporation, the nation’s leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, has an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level Roofing Technical Inspector to support Sales Representatives in the greater Birmingham area.

This position pays $50k - $55k plus premier benefits and annual bonus opportunity.

Job Summary:

• Travel to customer’s locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers

Candidate Requirements:

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General construction, roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree inConstruction Management or similarpreferred
