Job summary

My Smart Roofs is hiring a Roofing Sales & Project Manager to build homeowner relationships, inspect properties, present proposals, close deals, and manage projects from start to finish in the DMV area. The role emphasizes commission-based compensation with no base salary and room for growth through self-generated leads.

You’ll travel to job sites, coordinate with production and office teams, and support insurance restoration work as needed. Training on roofing systems is provided.

Qualifications

• Confident communicating with homeowners and working independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, walking roofs, and working outdoors when properly trained and equipped.
• Self-motivated, organized, reliable, and results-driven.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in roofing, construction, storm restoration, or outside sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and generate opportunities with homeowners in targeted neighborhoods.
• Conduct roof and exterior inspections, including roofing systems, siding, gutters, and more.
• Educate homeowners and present proposals.
• Close sales and secure contracts.
• Manage projects through completion by coordinating with production teams and office staff.
• Support insurance restoration work, including documenting damage and coordinating inspections or adjusters as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and updates in our CRM.
• Deliver consistent follow-up and customer service that generates referrals.

Compensation Structure

• Company-Generated Leads: $50 per inspection + 10% commission
• Self-Generated Leads / Own Canvassing: $100 per contingency and claim file + 15% commission
• Company Truck & Equipment: Provided for field work
• Fuel Reimbursement: Available for approved business travel
