Roofing Sales Consultant (DMV Area)

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Roofing Sales Consultant to generate leads, inspect roofs, close deals, and manage client relationships from first contact to contract signing. This is a field sales role requiring independence, hustle, and professionalism. You will be representing a fast-growing, high-end construction company in the DMV market.

Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• Minimum 3 years roofing sales experience
• Must own: reliable truck/vehicle, ladder (able to perform roof inspections)
• Strong understanding of roofing systems (asphalt, flat, metal preferred)
• Insurance claims process (highly preferred)
• Ability to climb roofs and perform inspections safely
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage your own leads (door knocking, referrals, networking)
• Conduct roof inspections and identify damage
• Educate homeowners on repair/replacement options
• Assist homeowners with insurance claims when applicable
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals
• Close deals and hand off to production team
• Maintain CRM updates (Buildors platform)
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Aggressive closer with strong communication skills
• Self‑motivated and disciplined (no micromanagement)
• Comfortable working evenings/weekends when needed
• Strong local knowledge of DMV neighborhoods
• Experience in storm/restoration sales is a major plus
