Job summary

Paragon Roofing is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to enforce safety programs on commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing projects in the Dallas area. The role emphasizes hazard identification, training delivery, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with roofing field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA standards for construction and roofing.
• Ability to identify training needs and deliver safety training.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Senior Safety Manager/Director.
• Be able and willing to travel.
• Stop work in area to remedy serious safety deficiencies.
• Monitor and enforce project safety plans and OSHA standards.
• Prepare daily reports of safety observations and corrective actions.
• Assist with safety orientations and pre-task safety planning.
• Support the development of safety-related documents and procedures.
• Participate in off-hours high-risk activities as needed.
