BlueTeam is seeking a Roofing Project Engineer to join the roofing department in Houston. The role focuses on detailed planning, management, and communication to deliver high-quality projects on time and within safety standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical engineering background with proven leadership and coordination skills to manage purchasing, subcontractor scope, and project documentation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 5+ years of related experience.
• Must be familiar with general contracting procedures and building codes.
• Experience with project management tools and document controls is required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing, subcontract scope, and buyout processes with PMs.
• Review drawings and specifications to define scope for subcontractors.
• Maintain weekly project updates and logs (RFI, submittals, change orders).
• Lead meetings (OAC, subcontractors) and ensure safety and quality standards.
