Job summary

Baker Home Energy is seeking a Roofing Project Coordinator / Office Manager to oversee the administrative backbone of our roofing operations in California. You will coordinate permits, schedules, vendor relationships, and project closeout while partnering with Roofing Production, Sales, Service and Finance teams to keep projects moving smoothly from contract to completion.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of roofing oriented experience in office administration or project support.
Experience with permitting, scheduling, production coordination, and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily administrative functions supporting roofing installations, repairs, reroofs, and service projects.
Develop and maintain department workflows, processes, and documentation standards.
Ensure roofing projects are properly set up, documented, and tracked through completion.
Monitor permits, inspections, and scheduling milestones.
Coordinate with Roofing Manager, Foremen, and customers on production schedules.
Manage subcontractor schedules and subcontracts.
Lead administrative coordinators and office staff; recruit and train as needed.
Track KPIs and support reporting and budgeting.
