Job summary

Baker Roofing Company in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Roofing Laborer to assist Roofers and Foremen on job sites. You will help install metal, shingles, TPO, slate and other roofing systems while maintaining safety and quality.

You will prepare sites, remove debris, handle roofing materials, operate hand and power tools, and work with the crew to complete projects on schedule. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Education: High school/GED preferred but not required.
• Experience: General construction experience preferred.
• Driver’s License: Required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Remove debris from roofs and surrounding work areas.
• Assist with installing insulation, vapor barriers, and roofing materials.
• Assist with installing and repairing roofing systems using various materials.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, caulking, and roofing cement as needed.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Follow safety procedures and identify hazards.
• Work collaboratively with crew to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
