Baker Roofing Company in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Roofing Laborer to join our team. You will assist Roofers and Foremen to prepare job sites and install roofing systems including metal, shingles, single-ply systems.

This entry-level role offers hands-on training, safety-focused environment, and opportunities to advance from Laborer to Roofer and Foreman. Candidates should have high school diploma and basic construction experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Formación

• High school/GED preferred but not required.
• General construction experience preferred.
• Driver’s License: Required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Remove debris from roofs and surrounding work areas.
• Assist with installing insulation, vapor barriers, and roofing materials.
• Assist with installing and repairing roofing systems using materials such as metal, shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and single-ply systems.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, caulking, and roofing cement as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and other job-related equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and identify potential hazards.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
