Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Amarillo, TX is hiring a non-exempt helper to assist with roof installation and repair. The position offers an hourly rate of $15+ per hour, with a possible +$1/hour for a valid DL, and requires safety adherence and teamwork on site.

You will assist with laying roofing materials and learning various roofing systems under supervision, gaining hands-on experience while handling tools and equipment on projects in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to work in extreme weather elements.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Willing to learn and use the full range of roofing tools.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and PPE usage.
• Assist in laying roofing material for repair, maintenance and installation.
• Learn tasks across roofing systems (shingles, felt, PVC, TPO, EPDM, MOD BIT, BUR, asphalt).
• Work under supervision with instruction from crew manager and teammates.
• Follow directions and perform related duties as assigned.
