Job summary

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Sr. Technician to manage on-site construction activities and lead field staff on assigned projects in Texas.

You will ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and cost efficiency while coordinating with the Superintendent, clients and subcontractors. Requirements include at least 2 years in a senior technician role, OSHA 30, the ability to read blueprints and work independently, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience at a Sr. Technician level or higher within the construction industry.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction documents.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction site for divisional responsibility.
• Oversee field staff, safety, equipment, materials, scheduling, cost efficiency, quality, productivity and company vehicle organization for assigned project.
• Assist in scheduling, training and reviewing field personnel.
• Communicate with Superintendent, client and subcontractors.
• Ensure warranty inspections and punch list items are completed and handle delegated customer issues on assigned projects.
• Assist in performance management of the team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a Sr. Technician level or higher within the construction industry
• OSHA 30 certification

• Able to communicate expectations and lead others
• Able to work independently without significant supervision
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions
• Must be able to work in elevated locations
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to get to differing job locations
