Job summary

CFE, Inc. is seeking a Roofing Foreman to lead our crews on commercial roofing projects in New York. You will supervise installation and repairs, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with project leadership to deliver quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Construction Supervision Experience: proven supervisory roofing foreman or similar role.
• Specialized knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques.

• Willingness to travel to job sites and maintain reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and coordinate installation and repair of commercial roofing systems.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Field Superintendent to develop project plans.

• Monitor and evaluate team performance; guide on techniques and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team and coordinate the proper installation and repair of commercial roofing systems.
• Collaborate in the development of project plans with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent.
• Supervise, motivate, and train team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance, providing guidance on application techniques, productivity, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain communication with the client’s representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades as required.
• Stay up-to-date on manufacturer specifications and implement them across all relevant projects.

Position Requirements:

• Construction Supervision Experience: Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar supervisory role..
• Specialized Skills: In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques.
• Technical Drawing (Blueprint) Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints), as it facilitates precise execution of each project.
• Tools of the trade: Candidates are expected to provide their own hand tools necessary for completing tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to travel: Candidates must be open to traveling to job sites.
• Reliable transportation: Personal transportation is required to commute to and from various job sites.
