Arrow Roofing Systems is growing and we're looking for a Roofing and Siding Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Shingle, siding, and soffit installation.
• Structural patchwork and repair.
• Sheet metal cutting and bending (using a brake).
• Installation or replacement of vents.
• Installation or repair/replacement of skylights and sun tunnels.
• Gutter and downspout installation and repair.
• Removal/mitigation of ice dams in the cold season.
• Assisting with customer communication when necessary.
• Collecting material samples and details.
• Safely operating equipment and towing/maneuvering trailers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Other Duties

• Assisting other restoration/reconstruction specialists as needed in our Demolition, Restoration/Reconstruction, and/or Mitigation departments (Arrow Service Team).

Experience and Skills

• Direct or closely related indirect experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Familiar with aspects of exterior/carpentry work (roofing, siding, gutters, soffit, etc.) including proficient use of tools and strong knowledge of building materials.
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner with or without supervision.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to unexpected changes or challenges.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and overall craftmanship/quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team setting.
• Ability to be professional, act with integrity, and show empathy.

Physical Demands

• Lift constantly 5-15 lbs., lift frequently 15-40 lbs.
• May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull.
• Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
• Exposure to weather conditions with temperatures ranging from mild to moderate cold/heat.
• Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud (occasional to frequent).

Pay

• Starting pay is negotiable and largely depends on experience (DOE), diversity of skillsets, industry knowledge, and ability.
• 90‑day review (potential for early wage adjustment). Annual reviews scheduled thereafter within department review cycle (potential for wage adjustment).

Schedule

• During the warmer and peak season, typically 44 to 48 hours per week Monday through Friday (occasional work on weekends, if necessary)
• During the cooler season, typically 40 to 44 hours for limited exteriors work and cross‑department work (i.e.: demolition, mitigation, restoration construction, etc.) Monday through Friday.
• 7:30 am through 5 pm. Occasional earlier starts to accommodate travel distance and occasional work after 5 pm to accommodate job completion or work demand.
• Occasional over‑nights with hotel room paid and per diem provided.

Age Requirement

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Education

• High school or equivalent.

License/Certification

• Valid and current Driver’s License (legal ability to drive is required).
• Reliable transportation for getting to and from the office/shop.
