Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Site-based Roofer for work around Warminster within a 60 minute radius. Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, delivering high quality roofing repairs to social housing properties.

You'll join a supportive team with training and development, a pension, and benefits. This role offers steady, long-term work with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Roofer with experience in domestic roofing and related repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• DBS check required.
• Experience in social housing repairs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs including roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rainwater goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof retiling.
• Work on live sites in social housing environments.
• Coordinate with planning team to schedule jobs.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.

Location: Site based around Warminster and approximately a 60 minute radius- typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Roofer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• Rooferwith experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting
• Previous experience working in a live environment would be beneficial
• Breathable system compliant with current fixings meeting British standard specifications and competent roofer beneficial but not essential
• Working from job tickets or a handheld devicedaily
• Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Manage Systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate
• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• This role will require a DBS check
