Tear-off, ice and water shield, felt, shingles, and flashing. Utah roofing from the valley floor to Park City elevation. Dallas runs tight crews that do it right.
Roofing at Christensen Stucco means working on residential properties across Salt Lake Valley and the Wasatch Back. Early starts, physical work, and high standards on every job.
Early Start Schedule:
Roofing experience is strongly preferred. Physical fitness and comfort with heights are essential.
Previous residential roofing experience strongly preferred, including tear-off, felt, and shingle installation.
You need to be able to work on rooftops without hesitation. No fear of heights.
Roofing is one of the most physically demanding trades. Carrying bundles up ladders all day. You need to be in shape.
Dallas is strict about safety. If you don't take fall protection seriously this isn't the job for you.
Understanding of chimney, wall, and penetration flashing is a major plus.
Roofing crews start early — especially in summer. If 6 AM is a problem this isn't the right fit.
This Isn't Your Average Contractor Job.
Most contractor jobs mean working for whoever showed up today. At Christensen Stucco you work for Dallas — one owner, one crew, one standard. That means something.
Paid based on your actual skill level. Dallas doesn't lowball good people.
No seasonal layoffs. Dallas keeps his crew working 12 months a year.
Learn From a Master: 50 years of stucco knowledge. Most crews never get this kind of training.
Real Crew — No Subs: You're a Christensen crew member — not a day laborer. That's a different thing.
Quality Work You're Proud Of: Dallas doesn't cut corners. You'll build things that last 40 years and know it.
Direct Access to Dallas: No HR department. No middle management. You work directly with the owner.
I've been on rooftops since before most of my crew was born. I know every failure mode, every shortcut that comes back to bite you, every detail that separates a 40-year roof from a 15-year roof. I want people who want to learn that — not just people who want a paycheck. The paycheck comes with the knowledge.
