Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) seeks a Roof Truss Builder to join our Guin, AL production team. You will read cut sheets and blueprints to assemble roof trusses that meet NTA standards, working with a partner to maintain steady line tempo.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating a hydraulic press, and ensuring accurate nail placement and truss quality while meeting daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Read cut sheets and blueprints to build trusses meeting NTA standards.
• Check parts on table/press for proper setup of jig, cord, parts and nails.
• Ensure proper nail placement, overhang and king post on each unit.
• Meet production requirements while maintaining quality of trusses.
• Operate a hydraulic press and assist teammates as needed.

Has a strong work ethic. Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.· Reports directly to Truss Team Leader and Truss Department Area Coordinator.
