Advanced Roofing & Sheetmetal, a leading General Contractor and Commercial Roofing specialist, seeks a Roof Technician in Sarasota, FL. You will inspect, repair, and install diverse roofing systems, prioritizing safety and customer service, and collaboratively supporting project teams in occupied spaces.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of roofing experience, can work at heights, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years roofing experience preferred with both steep and low-slope systems.
• Safety-minded, team-oriented with strong customer service.
• Physically able to climb, lift up to 100 lbs, and work at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• HS diploma preferred; basic construction knowledge helps.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair residential and commercial roofing systems (Shingles, Tile, Metal, TPO, PVC, EPDM).
• Safely operate tools and machinery at heights.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain records of work performed.
• Perform installations and repairs on varied roofing systems.
• Adhere to OSHA safety training and protocols.
• Estimate projects and oversee large jobs as needed.
