Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply is seeking a Roof Loader in Jacksonville, FL to manually load and unload roof orders and support a seamless delivery operation at job sites. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency and the ability to multitask.

You will accompany drivers to job sites, guide trucks to prevent damage, count and verify orders, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety protocols. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to physically and safely deliver products.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the manual loading of orders onto outgoing vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the manual loading of orders onto outgoing vehicles
• Accompany drivers to job sites to unload purchases to customer's property
• Assist drivers with guiding trucks to avoid damage of merchandise or vehicles
• Report any problems to maintenance personnel and managers
• Count, verify, and manually unload incoming orders and shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prioritize safety and efficiency
Perform other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED required or one to three months related experience in working outdoors and/or in roofing
• Must be able to physically and safely deliver products
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
