Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking RoofField Technicians to join our network of independent contractors. You will conduct inspections on steep and high roofs, assess exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using cutting‑edge technology.

This independent contractor position offers flexibility, requires a reliable vehicle with a 32‑ft ladder, and the ability to obtain a lidar device. Prior roofing, construction, or claims experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle with space for a 32’ ladder.
• Lidar device or ability to obtain one.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook/Teams).
• HAAG Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roofs, including steep and high roofs, for damage.
• Assess exterior and interior damage and document findings.
• Conduct underwriting property inspections.
• Utilize technology to assess damage and prevent further harm.
• Coordinate with insureds and adjusters as needed.
