Job Purpose

Sales Associates achieve success through being professional, friendly, outgoing, energetic, and valuing repeat business. They are the representatives of the PRM brand to all our guests on the property. Using customer service, product knowledge, communication, and sales ability, they assist guests to ensure a high-quality visit every time. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the property’s appearance to company standards and completing all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level position. As long as the individual meets all applicable laws regarding employment, there are no minimum qualifications.
• Prefer 2 years retail customer service experience
• Computer literacy (operating in a PC environment)
• Must meet licensing requirements where applicable

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every guest genuinely
• Approach and offer assistance to every guest
• Merchandise product displays to create interest
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness throughout the property
• Proactively seek opportunities to up-sell and add-on additional merchandise
• Patrol the property to prevent theft, safety, inventory, and operational concerns, and communicate issues
• Maintain schedule flexibility (including nights, weekends, days, evenings, holidays)
• Complete assigned duties and tasks
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times
• Ensure safe practices at all times

Key Performance Metrics

Performance will be measured in:

• Shift goal attainment percentage
• Overall lines per invoice
• Lines per invoice (excluding services)
• Average transaction
• Quarterly attendance above 95%

Metrics help determine performance and eligibility for increases.

Physical Requirements

Involving bending, stooping, reaching, standing, lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive tasks. Must lift objects weighing 50 lbs or more and stand up to 100% of shift time.

Supervisory Functions

Minimal supervisory functions, typically helping direct janitorial staff as needed.
