Job summary

Crazy Maple Studio is seeking a ReelShort Screenwriter to adapt popular web novels into engaging screenplays with a focus on romance and drama. The role requires at least five years of writing experience and a strong ability to shape stories for a gaming and content audience.

You will read, analyze, and rewrite material, collaborating with peers in workshops and using data-driven insights to optimize retention and engagement across chapters and tutorials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of screenwriting experience.
• Strong creative screenwriting skills, particularly in romance and drama.
• Bachelor's degree in History, English, Fine Arts, Screenwriting, or a related field.
• Comfortable writing young adult romance/drama, which may include sensitive content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong interest in reading novels and knowledge of online publishing.

Responsibilities

• Read web novels to understand themes and write original screenplays.
• Analyze content and data to identify issues and plan optimizations.
• Write original content and collaborate on published content.
• Use data to enhance in-app retention, chapter conversions, tutorials, and promotions.
