Qualifications

• Master's degree in library science or related field.
• Strong background in Romance languages and Latin American studies.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Commitment to equity and inclusive workplace and ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to multiple departments and programs (Spanish, Italian & Portuguese, French, Latin American Studies).
• Provide research assistance to scholars at all levels and participate in digital scholarship projects.
• Deliver instruction in various formats (course-related, orientations, workshops, tutorials) and integrate information, digital, and AI literacy into curricula.
• Collaborate with Collections Management and other liaisons to prioritize materials for foreign language and global studies.
