Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a hardworking Assembler / Operator to fabricate, assemble, inspect and package Roman shades in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with fabric, sewing machines, mechanical components and automated equipment to meet safety, quality and production standards.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious and able to work both independently and as part of a production team. First shift Mon–Fri with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, sewing, textiles, or assembly experience.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines is preferred.
• Experience with window coverings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Roman shade components by hand using hand-held tools.
• Fabricate Roman shades by installing sewn fabric panels, lift mechanisms, headrails, cords and hardware.
• Operate production equipment such as automatic screwdrivers and riveters.
• Read, interpret and follow work orders, sewing patterns and SOPs.
• Measure, cut and verify fabric dimensions using rulers and calipers.
• Inspect sewn products to ensure stitch quality and alignment.
• Identify defects and report to lead or supervisor.
• Record production counts, scrap and defects for each job.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and comply with 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement and participate in training.
