Job summary

Sandvik is searching for an experienced CNC Set‑up Operator to work on the 3rd shift in Reynoldsville, PA. The operator will handle setting up, programming adjustments, operating, and maintaining Rollomatic grinding machines to produce precision round tools.

Candidates should possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, proficiency in using precision measurement tools, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Rollomatic CNC grinding machines preferred.
• Strong understanding of round tool geometry necessary.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T required.
• Basic understanding of G-code is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a high-mix, low-volume tool grinding environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinders for round tool production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Load programs, make offsets, and ensure tool geometry accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks.
• Monitor machine performance and tool quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
