You will plan and supervise the shift, coordinate with maintenance and quality staff, and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

This role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to safety policies, training of crew, and reporting on performance to optimize output.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience on a bar, rod or section mill with supervisory duties.
• Experience supervising a production crew in a heavy industry setting.
• Ability to lead, train, and coordinate with multiple teams daily.

Responsabilités

• Plan and supervise the shift rolling mill crew to produce quality steel products.
• Coordinate with maintenance, shipping/finishing foreman and QA technicians on production and quality.
• Maintain safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Direct and train crew members, fostering teamwork and cross-training.
• Approve timecards and manage attendance and downtime reporting.
