Aerotek is seeking a Rolling Mill Operator to join our Providence, RI manufacturing team. You will set up and operate precision metal rolling equipment, inspect finished parts, and ensure safety and quality while meeting production targets.
The role requires reading blueprints and specifications, using micrometers and calipers, and performing light maintenance. This onsite position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits where eligible.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, accurate use of measuring tools, and consistent attention to safety and product quality while supporting increased production demand and strict delivery expectations.

The role is based in a manufacturing facility producing precious metal products, operating in a fast-paced, team-oriented production setting. Noise levels are moderate to loud, and the shop can become warm during operation. Employees stand and walk throughout 8–10 hour shifts and frequently lift between 10 and 50 lbs, with some tasks requiring lifting up to 70 lbs. The position requires consistent use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots, and strict adherence to all PPE and safety requirements. Working conditions involve standing for prolonged periods, handling metal materials and boxes, and adapting to changing priorities and short-notice activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
