Commercial Metals Company is hiring a maintenance-oriented professional in Martinsburg, WV. You will support maintenance tasks, operate equipment, and follow safety procedures to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires teamwork, ability to work in harsh environments, and willingness to work rotating shifts with potential overtime. High school diploma or GED is required, with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to extremes in temperature, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Rotating shifts may include weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• Assist maintenance personnel when requested/needed.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture.
• Perform minor/routine maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot problems using knowledge and communication with others.
• Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure equipment inspection reports are filled out each shift.
• Maintain daily housekeeping in work area.
• Operate pendant crane to transfer wire spindle replacement.
• Maintain Rolling Mill settings for quality products.
