Responsible for supervision of mechanical maintenance personnel engaged in

maintenance, repair, and servicing of all existing equipment and facilities in the

mill, finishing, and shipping at the Texas location.

The Rolling Mill Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for

the supervision of mill mechanical maintenance personnel engaged in

breakdown, rebuild and preventive maintenance programs to minimize production

downtime due to equipment failure. This position reports to the General

Supervisor, RM Maintenance. Reporting to the incumbent are approximately 18

hourly skilled mechanical maintenance employees.

The incumbent is responsible for maintenance and installation of Billet Yard,

Rolling Mill, Finishing mechanical equipment and systems (electrical, mechanical

and pneumatic hydraulic) including cranes, reheat furnace and other service

equipment.

This position requires formalized mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic training and

from 8 to 10 years experience in heavy mechanical maintenance with an extensive

orientation period to the Mill Equipment.
